Another crazy comic adventure from a master of the genre.
After an accident forces Dog Man to wear a cone on his head, Lil' Petey and 80-HD help him feel better by giving it a super-powerful upgrade! But when Petey's Grampa and his cellmate Big Jim bust out of cat jail, will Dog Man be able to do good and defend the city once again?
As always, Dav has filled the book with lots of funny (and often rude) moments that you'll enjoy, such as when Lil' Petey and Molly keep annoying Petey by singing songs about poop.
This story's fun for grown-ups as well, as there are a couple of nods to the Happy Days TV character Fonzi and comedy singer "Weird Al" Yankovic, that parents will enjoy too.
And of course, there are heaps of Dav's signature illustrations in the comic as well, especially with the cool inventions and robots Petey has in his secret lair.
If you're a fan of Dog Man's other adventures, you'll enjoy this one. There are 10 books in the series so far, and this one is the latest.
Overall, this is another funny, irreverent adventure, with humour for both young and old, and a perfect choice for fans of this series.
