Dog Man's sidekick takes centre stage in a fun creative adventure!
In this Dog Man spin-off series, Li'l Petey, Flippy and Molly face their toughest challenge yet: teaching a class of 21 baby frogs how to make their own comic books! But when the group's crazy story ideas become too much for the sensible Flippy, will Comic Club end up becoming a success...or a disaster?
As the name suggests, there are plenty of fun mini-comics in this book that you'll enjoy, including titles such as Monster Cheese Sandwich and Chubbs McSpiderbutt.
Amidst all the silliness however, there are also some good tips if you want to design your own comics, such as an idea-generating activity, and how to design characters through copying.
And as always, Dav has filled the story with heaps of his signature illustrations, and even includes characters made from everyday household items, including a broken action figure and cardboard boxes
If you've read about Li'l Petey's adventures in the Dog Man series, then you'll enjoy this story, the first in a brand-new series.
Overall, this is a funny, irreverent, but surprisingly educational story, perfect if you're a fan of Dav's graphic novels.
